ANY 2008 STATE KING OR QUEEN THAT REFERS AT LEAST 2 CONTESANTS TO THE 2008 NATIONAL AND/OR 2009 STATE FINALS WITH RECEIVE A SPECIAL SHINING STARS COAT AT THE 2009 STATE FINALS

QUEEN OF QUEEN/KING OF KING/ POINTS AND RULES

Queen of Queen/King of King who receives the highest points by the 2009 State Finals will be crowned and receive $1,000.00 CASH on stage. This will be given at the 2009 State Pageant.  There must be a minimum of 50 contestants at the State Pageant or the award will be $500.00 CASH

POINTS

NEW ADDED QUEEN OF QUEEN POINTS:

• 1000 POINTS STATE QUEEN/KING GOES HERSELF/HIMSELF TO THE SHINING STARS NATIONAL PAGEANT THAT WILL BE HELD AUG. 8-10, 2008  WILL RECEIVE
  

• 1000 POINTS FOR EACH REFERRAL TO THE NATIONAL PAGEANT THAT YOU HAVE-YOU RECEIVE. Referrals name must be on the National Paperwork and turned in on the Registration deadline.  If you refer 5 contestants you will receive your Supreme Package for FREE- Everyone has to pay the registration fee.
  

• 75 points crowning at prelims, **the queen/king must be there to count for points
  

• 100 points parent/someone you get judging at prelims (100 points each person) Please let me know if you can help judge at a prelim as soon as possible. 
  

• 300 points per contestant referred to prelim
  

• 800 points per contestant that is referred and ENTERS 2009 STATE PAGEANT
  

• 25 points per grand openings, parades, public appearances, pictures with Celebrities, ect., Charity Work  (Please send pictures to me as soon as possible so I can enter Your points.)** Checking malls 2 weeks before prelim to see if posters/ads are out and calling the Directors**
  

• 25 points for each: ADS;  Newspaper article ect. (Please send me a copy so I can enter your points)
  

• 1000 points extra if get 10 referrals at the same prelim***
  

Referrals Must  have reigning Queens/Kings name on paperwork to be counted for points.  Referrals are very important in determining who may win Q of Q/K of K. Please keep track of your points and also send me your information so I can keep track of the points each month.

Winner MUST be present to receive cash awards

***You may not solicit at the pageant. ** You may not ask someone to put your daughter’s/son’s name on the prelim ppw as a referral if you do not know them.  Doing this may result in your daughter/son being disqualified for the Q of Q’s/K of K’s system for the rest of the year. When you contact people to put you down as a referral, you may only contact them up to 2 times.   This is by e-mail, phone, and text messaging them, or talking to them in person. If a contestant has been pressured into putting your name on the ppw, you may be disqualified for the Queen of Queen points.

This is to be a fun and fair competition of running for Queen of Queen’s/King of Kings.  I don’t want anyone to feel pressured.
